Apply in July

Getting an admission decision earlier has never been easier! 

1. Submit ¿ìÉ«ÊÓƵ application (application opens July 1): Our online admissions application opens on July 1. You need to submit your application as quickly as possible to ensure we are able to review it and your admission materials in time.
2. Submit admission materials: Submit your high school transcript and test scores immediately after submitting your application. We recommend obtaining these before you leave school for the summer break.
3. Register for Apply in July via an emailed link. Once you have completed your application and submitted your documents, be on the lookout for an email with a link to select your appointment time.
4. Attend Apply in July at your registered time. During the event, you will meet with an admissions representative who will provide you with your non-binding, on-the-spot admission decision and answer any questions you may have.

Hold off on making travel plans prior to confirming a spot at the event. Event spots are limited and can fill up quickly.

2. Pay the application fee in your .
   • ¿ìÉ«ÊÓƵ accepts ,  and  college application fee waivers for eligible students. Waivers can be uploaded through your .
3. Submit your , and/or test scores. 
   • Upload a PDF score report directly into your . Make sure your name, test date and all essential information is included and clearly visible.
4. Submit your high school transcript(s).
   • Upload a PDF copy of your transcript(s) in your .
   • Transcripts must have your 9th-11th final grades.

Important: 

• Check your  and email regularly to ensure we receive all of the necessary materials. 
• Submit everything as quickly as possible to allow enough time for review.

A few things to keep in mind about receiving an admission decision at Apply in July:

• Decisions are non-binding. This simply means that you can receive your decision without making an immediate commitment to attend the ¿ìÉ«ÊÓƵ.
• You may be admitted to a term other than the one to which you apply. Based on your academic profile and our admission midranges (listed below), we will review your application for general admission into the University. Specific term of admission or program may be determined at a later time. 
• Admission is not guaranteed. We work hard to admit as many great students as possible during Apply in July. However, some students may be placed on our waitlist or denied based on their academic profile. We encourage you to review our admission midranges below to get an idea of general expectations. 

Incoming Freshman Midranges

Wondering what kind of GPA and test scores you need? The Office of Admissions publishes the academic midranges of admitted first-time-in-college (FTIC) students as a reference. The mid-ranges represent the middle 50% of admitted students at ¿ìÉ«ÊÓƵ, not all admitted students.

Receiving your Official Decision

While you may receive an admission decision during the event, you will not receive your official ¿ìÉ«ÊÓƵ Admission Decision Packet in the mail until November or December. 

• You can follow the Admissions Event Road signs to the event location and parking options.
• Complimentary parking will be available in with overflow parking in the Fine Arts Center, .
• View a  to locate the Coggin College of Business,  to check-in for the event. Please have your check-in QR code ready!

• Arrive 15-30 minutes prior to your appointment to check in at the Event Check-in table. Remain in the Waiting Room, enjoy light refreshments or explore our Resource Fair until you are called for your specific appointment location in Building 10.

• Receive an on-the-spot admissions decision if you have submitted all of your application materials.

• Meet representatives from key departments on campus and get to know more about ¿ìÉ«ÊÓƵ!

• Explore ¿ìÉ«ÊÓƵ’s beautiful campus! Hear from a tour guide about what the hallmarks of a ¿ìÉ«ÊÓƵ education are all about and their experiences as a current student.
• Check-in at Room 1116 15 minutes before your desired tour time. Walking tours take approximately 1.5 hours.

• Visit ¿ìÉ«ÊÓƵ’s four-story library and learn about all the resources and materials available to students, including study rooms, research assistance and more! If you arrive later than 2 P.M., please note you will be required to sign in with a form of ID.

• Take a serene and educational journey through the ¿ìÉ«ÊÓƵ Botanical Gardens and get insights into the diverse plant life, ecological features and sustainable practices that make our gardens ahidden gem on campus.
